Recently, one of our long-time Cameroonian clients contacted us again, deciding to purchase a grader to support local road construction projects. The client had previously purchased and used XCMG loaders from us, and their reliability was highly praised. Therefore, they wanted to purchase another product from the same brand. We recommended the XCMG GR215 Grader, which is well-suited to local conditions. After thoroughly understanding the equipment, the client placed an order.

Cameroon's road infrastructure construction currently faces numerous challenges. Official data shows that only 8.6% of its road network is paved with asphalt, 75% of the roads are in poor condition, and the 2025 road paving progress is only half of the annual target. Funding shortages lead to delays in construction and maintenance. Furthermore, the region's tropical rainforest climate, with a rainy season lasting nine months, makes the red clay difficult to compact after being soaked by rainwater. The complex terrain and harsh construction environment further slow down progress, necessitating efficient and durable graders to overcome these challenges.

The XCMG GR215 grader boasts powerful performance precisely suited to Cameroon's construction needs. Equipped with a 160kW Cummins engine and 87kN of traction, it easily handles complex terrain. Its 4.27-meter wide blade supports 360° rotation and a 500mm cutting depth, efficiently completing core tasks such as roadbed leveling and slope trimming. A ripper is mounted at the rear, allowing for the breaking up of the hard surface layer of red clay before excavation, significantly reducing cutting resistance, improving operational efficiency, and enabling more construction to be completed during the limited dry season.

The equipment's user-friendly design and high reliability significantly enhance the user experience. The sealed cab is equipped with three-stage shock absorption and a high-efficiency air conditioning system, adapting to hot and humid climates and reducing fatigue during long working hours. The rear axle self-locking differential prevents slippage on muddy roads, strengthening its adaptability to complex working conditions. The modular structure, combined with a rear-hinged hydraulic engine cover, simplifies maintenance procedures. Furthermore, XCMG spare parts are relatively readily available in Cameroon, reducing equipment downtime and maintenance costs, ensuring the equipment is always in optimal working condition.
