Notes On The Use Of Wheel Loaders

Wheel loader is a kind of earthwork construction machinery widely used in highway, railway, building, hydropower, port, mine and other construction projects, it is mainly used for shovelling soil, gravel, lime, coal and other bulk materials, but also for ore, hard soil and other light shovelling and digging operations. It can also be used for light shovelling and digging of ores and hard soil, etc. It can also be used for bulldozing, lifting and loading and unloading of other materials such as timber by replacing different auxiliary devices. Today and you introduce the loader in the work of the precautions:

1. Safety Precautions

a. Drivers and related personnel in the use of the loader before, must carefully and carefully read the manufacturing enterprise randomly provided by the use of maintenance instructions or maintenance manual, according to the information provided by the matters to do. Otherwise, it will bring serious consequences and unnecessary losses.

b. The driver should be dressed in accordance with the safety requirements and wear the necessary protective facilities.

c. In the case of a small range or dangerous area of the operation area, then a warning sign must be displayed within its range or at the dangerous point.

d. It is absolutely forbidden for drivers to operate under the influence of alcohol or excessive fatigue.

e. When carrying out maintenance or inspection work in the centre articulation area, anti-rotation barsmust be fitted to prevent the front and rear frames from rotating relative to each other.

f. Get on and off the loader after it is parked in an area where there are stirrups and handrails. Do not jump up and down when the loader is working or walking.

g. When lifting the arm is required to service the loader, the lifted arm must be firmly padded to ensure that the arm will never fall in any maintenance situation.

2. Safety Precautions Before Starting The Engine

a. Check and make sure that all lamps are illuminated and that all display lamps show properly. In particular, check the normal display of the turn signal lamps and brake display lamps.

b. Check and make sure that no one is allowed to work under the vehicle or close to the loader when starting the engine to ensure that no one will endanger themselves or others in the event of an accident.

c. The loader's variable speed control handle should be swung to the neutral position or facing outside before starting.

3. Safety Precautions During Operation

a. For wheel loaders without an emergency brake, the hand brake handle should be levered to the stop position.

b. After starting the engine, wait until the brake air pressure reaches the safe air pressure before preparing to start to ensure the safety of braking when driving.

c. If there is an emergency brake, press the button of the emergency and parking brake valve to release the emergency and parking brake before starting in I gear. If there is no emergency brake, just put down the parking brake handle and release the parking brake to start.

d. Remove the loader on the road of faulty things, especially pay attention to the iron, ditch and other obstacles, so as not to cut the tyres.

e. Adjust the rear-view mirror so that the driver can have the best visual effect after entering the seat.

f. Make sure the loader's horn, back-up signal light, and all safeties are working properly.

g. When about to start or when checking that the steering is flexible left and right in place, the horn should be honked first to warn those around you of the safety of the loader.

h. Before starting to walk, all manoeuvring handles, pedals and steering wheels should be tried once to make sure that they are in normal condition before starting into the operation. Pay special attention to check whether the steering, braking is intact. Determine the steering, braking is completely normal, before starting to run.

I. When travelling, place the bucket at a height of about 400mm above the ground. When working on the slope or crossing the ditch and other obstacles, you should slow down, small corner, be careful to avoid tipping over. When the loading surface starts to slide to one side on the steep slope, it must be unloaded immediately to prevent it from continuing to slide down.

j. Try to avoid too many tyres and too much skidding during operation; try to avoid two wheels hanging in the air, and do not allow only two wheels to land and continue operation.

k. When working as a tractor, you are only allowed to hook up with the traction device, and you are not allowed to stand between the towed object and the loader, and you should keep a certain safety distance to prevent safety accidents.

4. Safety Precautions At The End Of The Work

a. The loader should be parked on level ground and the bucket should be placed flat on the ground. When the engine is turned off, it is necessary to repeatedly trigger the operating handle of the working device to ensure that the hydraulic cylinders are in a no-pressure rest state. When the loader can only be parked on the ramp, the tyres should be firmly padded.

b. Place various handles in neutral or middle position.

c. Remove the electric lock key first, then close the power main switch, and finally close the doors and windows.

d. Not allowed to park in the open fire or high temperature area, in order to prevent the tyre heat explosion, causing accidents.

e. When the tyre is inflated with the combination valve or storage tank, people should not stand on the front side of the tyre to prevent explosion and injury.
