The Relationship Between SEM and CATERPILLAR

SEM is now a major brand under the CATERPILLAR umbrella. Originally an independent machinery manufacturing company, SEM later established a partnership with CATERPILLAR and eventually became a wholly owned subsidiary of CATERPILLAR. The transition began in 2003, when CATERPILLAR signed a letter of intent to partner with SEM, followed by the formalization of the US-China joint venture in 2005, which became a full CATERPILLAR subsidiary in 2008. SEM's products mainly include loaders, bulldozers, rollers and many other kinds of construction machinery.

 

1. SEM Bulldozer

3. SEM Motor Grader
