How To Maintenance Road Roller ?

By regularly servicing and maintaining the XCMG road roller, you can extend its service life and improve its stability and reliability. Only correct operation, enhanced safety awareness and regular maintenance can ensure the efficiency and reliability of the road roller and ensure the smooth progress of the road project. This article will introduce you to the maintenance and upkeep of your roller depending on the hours of operation.

 

 

 

1. Daily Check

 

a. Check for oil, water, gas leakage and overheating of machine parts

b. Check the road roller diesel engine oil, coolant and hydraulic oil level.

c. Check tyre pressure and damage of the road roller.

d. Check the instrument and light of the vibratory roller.

e. Press and inject grease into each articulation point.

 

 

2. Every 50 Hours

 

a. Check and tighten the front and rear drive shaft bolts.

b. Check transmission oil level

c. Check and adjust the foot brake and hand brake, brake booster oil level.

d. Check the throttle control and speed change control system.

 

 

3. Every 100 Hours

 

a. Replace the gearbox oil (every 600 hours thereafter) and clean the oil sump screen.

b. Change engine oil (every 600 hours thereafter)

c. Check the battery fluid level and apply petroleum jelly to the battery terminals.

d. Check the tightness of rim and brake disc bolts and axle bolts.

e. Check the tightness of each fastening bolt.

 

 

4. Every 200 Hours

 

a. Check the oil level of front and rear axles

b. Clean the air filter (replace the filter element if necessary)

c. Clean the oil, diesel, transmission oil filter

d. Measure tyre pressure at 0.27~0.31Mpa

e. Check the working device, front and rear frame welds for cracking

f. Check the generator, fan belt tightness.

 

 

5. Every 600 Hours

 

a. Replace the gear oil of front and rear axles (every 1000 hours thereafter)

b. Clean the oil suction filter of the diesel tank

c. Remove contaminants from water tank and radiator surface

d. Change engine oil and replace oil and diesel oil filters

e. Replace transmission fluid and oil filter

f. Check engine valve clearance.

 

 

6. Every 1200 Hours

 

a. Replace the hydraulic oil, clean or replace the oil filter, clean the oil tank

b. Check the operation of the engine

c. Check the working condition of the hydraulic system

d. Check the performance of the steering system

e. Check the performance and replace the brake fluid.

 

 

7. Every 2400 Hours

 

a. overhaul the engine according to the engine's manual

b. Disassemble and inspect the gearbox and torque converter

c. Disassemble and inspect the front and rear axles

d. Check the welds of each part of the whole engine.
